Extension Plans for Gingin Observatory |

To Cater for growing public interest and demand at Gingin Observatory, the Gravity Discovery Centre Foundation Inc WA was successful in receiving two grants to develop concept plans and designs for an extension and upgrade to Gingin Observatory; $67000 from the Wheatbelt Development Commission's Royalties for Regions Wheatbelt Regional Grants Scheme and $62500 from the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism's TQUAL Grants program administered by Ausindustry.
Information and feedback brochures will be available at the Shire of Gingin and Chittering offices from 5-16 July 2010 and then from the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre and the Joondalup Library from 19-30 July 2010. Community comments are welcome. The brochure is also available for download at www.ginginobservatory.com

The Neergabby Community Association (NCA) have over the last 10 months identified a number of areas on the Neergabby Domain that need to be upgraded due to safety and health issues.
This report was given at the 2010 AGM Held on 29th March 2010 whereby the incoming committee members were elected.
All members invite new members to join and the next meeting will be held on Monday 14th June 1t 5.50pm
